Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Fans Celebrate Crosshair's Return in Episode 3


The third episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 is finally here and this time, we don't get to see the current line-up of Clone Force 99. Instead, The Solitary Clone put the focus on their estranged member Crosshair and fans are celebrating the survival of the team's former sniper.

In The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 3, it is revealed that Crosshair has survived after being left behind by his former teammates on Kamino. Now that he has recovered, Vice Admiral Rampart assigns him to Commander Cody on a mission to rescue Imperial Governor Grotton on Desix.

Although they successfully infiltrate the former Separatist planet, Crosshair and Cody learn that Desix's governor Tawni Ames has taken Grotton hostage. She insists that the planet should be taken out of Imperial jurisdiction but after Cody offers a peaceful resolution, Crosshair kills Ames on Grotton's orders. Later, the disillusioned Cody deserts the Empire.

The episode was certainly an eye-opening one as we got to see how Commander Cody is realizing that the Empire isn't doing the right thing. The Solitary Clone was an awesome action-packed yet thoughtful episode that put the spotlight on Crosshair and fans are just loving it.

It was great to see Crosshair in action all over again and we welcome the return of Cody as well. It was disappointing to know that Crosshair didn't join Cody which would mean he would continue to suffer under the Empire. Nevertheless, people are not losing hope and believe that Crosshair will eventually be reunited with his brothers.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 3 is titled The Solitary Clone and is the first episode of the second season to bring back Crosshair. The first three episodes of the animated show's second season are now streaming on Disney+.
