What Happened Before Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 3?
Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 aired its premiere with a two-part release of Episodes 1 and 2.
In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 1 titled Spoils of War, Cid receives a tip from her friend, Phee Genoa, for the Bad Batch to go to Serenno so they could steal some of the parts of the massive war chest of Count Dooku to get them their finances for their future.
While they showed some reluctance at first, Hunter joins and with that, the team proceeds to Serenno where the Empire is already doing the transport of Count Dooku's wealth away.
As they are stealing some parts of the war chest, the Bad Batch gets discovered by some of the Empire's people and that leads to a big battle while Omega, Tech, and Echo are trapped in the cargo ship which is about to take off.
As they fight their way to the cargo container, they try to use the reentry thrusters to escape safely while Hunter and Wrecker are trying to make their own escape through the ruins of the bombed city.
In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 2 titled Ruins of War, the cargo container crashed on the surface and as they make their way to the Marauder, Omega, Tech, and Echo encounters Romar Adell, a local trying to survive in the woods.
As they are talking to Romar, they get the impression of what life is like to be free. While unattended, Omega sneaks out to get more fortune from the chest, then, when Echo and Tech noticed that she is away, they go after her, and they bump with the Imperial search parties.
A fight ensues and the three gets to escape thanks to Romar's help. Meanwhile, Hunter and Wrecker are still fighting for freedom and get reunited with the rest of the Bad Batch.
As the survival of the Clone Force 99 has been confirmed, Vice Admiral Rampart decides that it is better to keep the information secret from Governor Tarkin as he fears facing punishment for not eliminating the Bad Batch.
