Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Trailer Confirms Gungi and Commander Cody's Arrival

It has been a long wait but the trailer for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 is finally here and not surprisingly, there is a lot of awesome footage from the upcoming episodes. However, fans are understandably most excited about the return of Wookie youngling Gungi and Clone Marshal Commander Cody.

The Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 trailer opens with a gorgeous island but it doesn't take long before a group of angry giant crustaceans begin chasing Clone Force 99. As the opening scene confirms, there will be new adventures but the team will also be facing the big problem.

It's truly an exciting trailer teasing what's up ahead in the second season of The Bad Batch and it all looks awesome so far. However, Star Wars fans are understandably thrilled about the Star Wars: The Clone Wars characters who will be taking the big leap into the new animated series.

In the Bad Batch Season 2 trailer, we get to see Tech, Omega and Gungi having to face off against some bad guys but the Wookiee quickly springs into action, using the Force to grab a lightsaber. It's an exciting glimpse at the youngling's return and how he will join forces with Clone Force 99.

Fans are also loving the return of Commander Cody who declares that they are not the enemy. However, the new character Tawni Ames isn't convinced, stating that "peace was never an option." It certainly looks like Cody will be playing a bigger role in the second season and we can't wait to see more early next year.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 will bring back Dee Bradley Baker as Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo, as well as Michelle Ang as Omega. Baker will also provide the voices of Captain Rex and Commander Cody. The series returns to Disney+ on January 4, 2023.
