Star Wars: The Bad Batch Lose Their Home in Season 2 Episode 9

Clone Force 99 just can't seem to get a break. Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 9 saw the team go on another ill-fated mission and this time, it looks like they have lost their home soon after Echo left to join Captain Rex.

In The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 9, Cid sends Clone Force 99 to a mine she purchased in hopes they could extract ipsium mineral. The team, which has lost another member after Echo decided to join Captain Rex, struggled to complete the mission because they were a man down. Unfortunately, this led to the Marauder being stolen.

Without the ship, the Bad Batch is forced to trek to the nearest spaceport but get caught up in a stampede and a lightning storm that detonates the ipsium they recovered. Although they manage to hide in another mine, the explosion traps them within.

Being trapped in the mine leads to tensions between the members as Omega admits to being angry about Echo's departure while Wrecker and Tech blame each other for getting them all trapped. The angry Omega storms off into the mine and discovers more ipsium and when Tech follows her to apologize, they fall down a ravine and become separated from the others.

The time away allows Omega and Tech to talk about Echo and Crosshair and Tech admits that he was also hurt when the two decided to leave Clone Force 99. When they are finally reunited with Hunter and Wrecker, they find an alternate way to get to the spaceport to contact Cid who agrees to find them transport in a few days.

The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 9 certainly confirmed that Omega is not the only one affected by all the members leaving the team. Now that they have lost the Marauder, it appears they have also lost their home. Hopefully, they will be able to locate the ship while they are at the spaceport.
