Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is only a few weeks away. And as the premiere gets closer, multiple promotional materials are getting released left and right. The latest TV spot gave us a new look at the Knights of Ren, and now, a new clip from the upcoming movie features a surprising upgrade for the Stormtroopers.

Star Wars released a film clip showing Rey, Finn, Poe, and the rest of the gang being chased by a couple of Stormtroopers. This particular clip is briefly shown in the other previous trailers and TV spots, so there's not a lot of details seen. We now get another look at the scene, which shows that Stormtroopers are now able to fly with the help of (what appears to be) jet packs. You can check out the clip below!

Yes, they fly now! This isn't new to long-time Star Wars fans though since they've seen Stormtroopers similar to these in Rebels. Jet Troopers were also featured at the D23 Expo. That being said, for those who are new to the franchise, this is certainly a really cool surprise.

With all the clips, posters, and teasers coming out, fans are surely hyped to see the epic conclusion of the Skywalker Saga. C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels even considers the film as one of the best ones he's worked on. Aside from that, director JJ. Abrams also promises that the upcoming movie will have a satisfying ending to wrap up all nine films.
