Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Adds PEN15's Maya Erskine in Mystery Role


We recently found out about the impressive cast of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series but the Star Wars series has just added another awesome actress. PEN15 co-creator and star Maya Erskine has just been confirmed to join the upcoming Disney+ show and she could be playing a major role in the highly anticipated series.

Deadline confirms that Erskine will be joining the already impressive cast of the Obi-Wan show. Although her role was not revealed, it was reported that Erskine will appear in at least three episodes, which would be half of the series. This could mean that her character is an important addition to the Star Wars Universe.

Erskine has appeared in several TV shows like Hart of Dixie, Man Seeking Woman, and Insecure. She has also lent her voice to animated shows like BoJack Horseman, Bob's Burgers, Big Mouth, and Robot Chicken. Needless to say, we're looking forward to seeing her in action in the Obi-Wan series.

Star Wars had previously announced several cast members of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. In addition to Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, the series will bring back Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse as Owen and Beru Lars. They will be joined by Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell and Benny Safdie.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi show will be directed by The Mandalorian director Deborah Chow and is currently in production. The series has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
