Star Wars Celebration 2019 held its Mandalorian panel today, but sadly nothing official was released online—much to the dismay of the people who couldn't attend. If it's any consolation though, we do get some HQ stills from the show that give us a good look at the characters of Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, and Carl Weathers.
Check them out:
We also have these pictures of the three in full costume:
Besides the three actors that were present for the panel, there are also a lot of guest stars who are expected to appear in The Mandalorian. Taika Waititi is speculated (but not yet confirmed) to be playing the role of bounty hunter droid IG-88, and other actors who have been announced were Nick Nolte, Werner Herzog, Giancarlo Esposito, and Omid Abtahi. Bryce Dallas Howard is also making an appearance and directing an episode.
While a lot of people are bummed that we didn't get the release of the official sizzle reel, some speculate that we'll get our previews when Disney starts marketing their streaming service. If it's any consolation, Star Wars Celebration still has two more days to go, and with some of the footage leaking online, maybe Lucasfilm will change their mind and have the reel officially released.
The Mandalorian is expected to come out the same day as Disney+ launches, so expect it to be available Nov. 12.
