Star Wars: Andor Unveils Its Twitter Emoji

Just a few hours before Disney+ Day and the D23 Expo, Star Wars: Andor prepares for the upcoming event by unveiling the Twitter emoji for the show and it is one that is fitting for the series as it releases on the streaming platform later this month.

Fans can now #Andor on Twitter with its new Rebel emoji debuting today just a day before the second Disney+ Day and the upcoming D23 where Star Wars: Andor is expected to release its biggest teasers and announcements two weeks before the Empire returns to the screens.

The official Twitter page of Star Wars posted on Twitter, "In 2 weeks, the Empire returns. Experience the three-episode premiere of #Andor, an Original series from Star Wars, streaming September 21 only on @DisneyPlus."

Star Wars: Andor is one of the most anticipated projects of Lucasfilm coming this September on Disney Plus and the series is about to set what exactly happened five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Cassian Andor banners the series which will stand as the prequel of the spin-off Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and it will follow the beginning of the Rebellion, one of the turning points of the narrative of the galaxy far, far away.

Diego Luna plays the titular Andor and he will be joined by a star-studded cast of familiar and new faces such as Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, and Fiona Shaw as Maarva.

Denise Gough suits up as Dedra Meero, and Kyle Soller plays Syril Karn. Other cast members include Alex Ferns, Clemens Schick, Robert Emms, David Hayman, Eedy Karn, and Ebon Moss Bach-rach.

Star Wars: Andor will premiere on September 21, 2022 where it will be arriving with its first three episodes before it proceeds with its weekly release on Disney Plus.
