Drawing near its release on Disney Plus, the Rogue One prequel, Star Wars: Andor drops a new poster for the highly anticipated series teasing the beginning of the rebellion with Cassian embarking on a journey to becoming a rebel hero.
Star Wars: Andor will be set five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story following the thief who became a Rebel spy, Cassian Andor. Before its release on Disney Plus, the show just dropped a new poster for the series diving deep into the roots of the rebellion.
Cassian Andor is set to prove himself being capable of so much more for a bigger cause as he joins the Rebellion formed to oppose the Galactic Empire in a revolutionary tale from the galaxy far, far away -- a thief to a hero sacrificing himself for the betterment of many.
Star Wars: Andor, fitting into the Star Wars timeline during 5 BBY, is expected to feature a new perspective on the events of the Rebellion in the franchise, one of the events that completely changed the fate of the whole galaxy.

Star Wars: Andor boasts a star-studded cast with Diego Luna bannering the slate as Cassian Andor, Genevieve O'Reily as Mon Mothma, Stellan Skarsgård as Luthen Rael, Denise Gough as Dedra Meero, Adria Arjona as Bix Caleen, Fiona Shaw as Maarva, and Kyle Soller as Syrill.
Also returning to reprise his role from Clone Wars is Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera. Other cast members include Anton Lesser, Kathryn Hunter, Robert Emms, Alex Ferns, Clemens Schick, David Hayman, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
Star Wars: Andor will premiere on Disney Plus with the first three episodes of the series on September 21, 2022. New updates on the series are expected to arrive on Disney+ Day on September 8th.
