Following the fourth episode, Spy x Family Season 2 got an action-packed trailer that shows off new clips from the highly anticipated Cruise Adventure arc.
This new trailer was shared on the TOHO animation official YouTube channel, and it finally gives viewers a look at the fan-favorite arc in its animated form.
For reference, the show’s previous trailers did not feature any of these new clips as the promotion mostly centered on the first four episodes, possibly to avoid spoiling the surprises.
Spy x Family Anime Will Finally Begin a Long-Awaited Arc
After much anticipation, Spy x Family finally returned in Fall 23, though its first four episodes were mostly standalone stories.
To start, the series opened with an adaptation of a popular bonus chapter featuring Loid and Yor’s date. The next two episodes put the spotlight on some side characters such as Bond, Damian, and Yuri.
Even the latest episode featured self-contained stories, including the hilarious pastry chapter. These are no doubt entertaining, but they didn’t progress the plot that much.
Finally, the second season is moving to a meaty story arc that many manga readers can’t wait to see in the anime. Specifically, the anime is now entering the Cruise Adventure, a multi-episode arc.
Aside from featuring the Forger family trio going on a cruise, this is a fan-favorite arc because it puts the spotlight on Yor. After all, most of the other longer arcs focused on either Loid or Anya.

Spy x Family Season 2 Trailer Shows Off Cruise Adventure Arc Clips
In this arc, Yor receives a mission as Thorn Princess involving someone from her past.
Adding a wrinkle to her mission is the fact that Loid and Anya are also there on the cruise, unaware of what’s going on.
The show’s new trailer is nearly two minutes long, and it features a lot of action featuring Yor. This makes it a must-watch for fans who can’t wait to see Thorn Princess in action once again.

The Spy x Family Season 2 Cruise Adventure Arc will begin in Episode 5. This next episode will be released this weekend on Crunchyroll in the US and other selected regions.
This arc will be split across multiple episodes, though it wasn’t revealed how many episodes it will specifically have.
