Spy x Family Episode 7 has just been released but it looks like fans are already looking forward to next week. The preview for Spy x Family Episode 8 has been revealed and it confirmed that Yuri Briar is going to meet the Forgers after learning his sister has married a man he never met!
In Spy x Family Episode 7, we got several little glimpses at Yuri Briar. In one scene where Yor Forger compares Anya Forger to her younger brother, a flashback scene features Yuri as a child. The adult Yuri then shows up in the post-credits scene where Dominic (last seen in the second episode party) tells him Yor has gotten married.
Amazingly, we see more of Yuri in the Spy x Family Episode 8 preview where he is seen in uniform and then in regular clothes holding a huge bouquet of flowers. This shot is soon followed by a glimpse at the smiling Yor and Loid Forger welcoming him into their home.
We already know Yuri is coming after he calls Yor in the second episode. He has also appeared in the closing sequence which plays after each episode. However, Yuri's first real appearance in the anime was in Episode 7's post-credits scene. Luckily, we'll finally get to learn more about him next week.
But what's so exciting about Yuri meeting with the Forgers? Manga readers have been hyping up the meeting for some time now and they have a good reason. We won't spoil anything for those who are only following the anime but fans can expect a lot of excitement next week.
Spy x Family Episode 8 is titled The Counter-Secret Police Cover Operation ("Taihimitsu Keisatsu Gisō Sakusen") and will premiere on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
