Spy x Family Episode 2 Teases Yor's Brother Yuri's Arrival

Spy x Family Episode 2 is finally out and people are loving everything about it, from Yor Forger's debut to how Loid Forger proposed to his future wife. In addition to that, Secure a Wife gave us a taste of what Yor's brother is going to be like as the voice actor for Yuri Briar also made his debut!

In Spy x Family Episode 2, we finally got to meet Yor Briar, a sweet employee at the Berlint City Hall who also happens to be the dangerous assassin known as Thorn Princess who works for the Garden. At one point, Yor is invited to a party by her fellow employees who expect her to bring her boyfriend. When she mentions this to Yuri, her brother immediately states that he will put his own promotion on hold so he could meet the man.

Yuri himself doesn't appear in the episode since his appearance is a mere telephone call. However, fans are already loving the fact that he is voiced by Kensho Ono.

Ono is best known for his roles as Tetsuya Kuroko in Kuroko's Basketball, Giorno Giovanna in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Yuya Sakaki in Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Slaine Troyard in Aldnoah.Zero. Personally, I love his performance in Bungo Stray Dogs where he plays Ryunosuke Akutagawa. Needless to say, he is a welcome addition to Spy x Family and we can't wait to officially meet Yuri in the anime.

In addition to Ono, Spy x Family Episode 2 also featured five new voice actors. Umeka Shouji as Camilla, Manaka Iwami as Millie, Mirei Kumagai played Yor's Berlint City Hall colleagues Camilla, Millie, and Sharon, respectively. Shohei Kajikawa voiced Dominic, Camilla's boyfriend and Junichi Suwabe portrayed Yor's boss Shop Manager of Garden.

Spy x Family Episode 3 is titled Prepare for the Interview ("Juken Taisaku o Seyo") and is based on the manga's third chapter Mission 3. The episode will premiere on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 23:00 PM JST.
