In an interview with Variety during the premier event of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, producer Amy Pascal revealed that they are already working on a live-action Miles Morales movie as well as a Spider-Woman movie that is also long been rumored.

"You’ll see all of it. It’s all happening," she teased.

Avi Arad, another producer of the new film, added that fans will be able to see the Spider-Woman movie "sooner than you expect."

"I cannot tell you yet, but it’s coming," he teased.

Pascal and Arad did not reveal more details about the Miles Morales live-action movie and whether they are already in talks with a director and writer who will work on the project.

This is certainly the first acknowledgment that we've heard from the producers that a Miles Morales live-action project is in the works and this should excite fans who have been looking forward for the character to finally get his big shot to have his own live-action movie.

It also just shows that Sony is really eager to expand their Spider-Verse franchise by developing more movies that don't involve a Peter Parker Spider-Man, who is currently played by Tom Holland in the MCU which is obviously in another universe.

With the character's now high-profile popularity, there is definitely more interest now than ever before from both fans and the general audience and hopefully, it does come to fruition very soon since there is no doubt that a lot of fans will look forward to it.

We should be hearing more updates about this project in the coming months or years and we will definitely keep you updated for that.
