WandaVision will air its grand finale next week and it's safe to assume that Episode 9 is where the special cameo from a mystery character will actually take place. Now, the question on everyone's mind is, who exactly is going to appear? Fans have been theorizing about it since Elizabeth Olsen teased that the finale will feature a cameo that will match Luke Skywalker's appearance in The Mandalorian.

A lot of fans assumed she was talking about Evan Peters who appeared in Episode 5 as "Pietro Maximoff". But while it was awesome to see the X-Men star "reprise" his Quicksilver role, actor Paul Bettany quickly dismissed it and revealed that the actor they're referring to is someone he hasn't worked with previously.

Now, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland is teasing his potential appearance in the hit MCU spinoff series. Although the two actors have been mainstays in the franchise for quite some time now, according to Holland, they've never worked together so that instantly makes him a candidate for the mystery cameo.

In a recent interview with Playlist to promote his new project Cherry, the 24-year-old actor claims: "I've never worked with Paul. We've never been on set together, so it could be me." He also shared his obsession with Marvel Studios' first-ever series and calls it "my favorite Marvel thing I've ever seen."

Obviously, Holland is just bluffing as they've actually shared some screen time in Captain America: Civil War where the actor made his official MCU debut as Spider-Man and although they didn't really interact, I still think that counts. You thought we'd forget, eh? In all seriousness though, Holland being revealed as the secret cameo would make a lot of sense considering WandaVision also sets up the events of Homecoming 3.

Personally, I'd much rather see a more mind-blowing character make an appearance on the show. I mean, since we're at it, why not set up the arrival of the mutants in the franchise through WandaVision? That makes total sense considering Scarlet Witch's rich history with them.
