So what can we expect from Spider-Man 2099? Sony Pictures recently dropped some interesting details about Across the Spider-Verse at France's Annecy Festival. In a tweet, Sony shared cool information about Miguel O'Hara.

"Unlike other Spideys, Miguel O'Hara wasn’t bitten by a radioactive bug and doesn't have Spidey Sense. But with advanced tech and his own prowess, he's got super strength! wall-climbing claws! a giant laser web! a flying wing-suit!!" the tweet reads.

Comic book readers already know these but it's great to see that Sony is sharing information with those who have only seen the animated film. With that in mind, we can't wait to see more of Miguel in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse next year.

Sony also shared an exclusive lithograph that was handed out to event attendees. Illustrated by Jesus Alonso Iglesias, the lithograph features Miles Morales going up against Spider-Man 2099.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was originally set to premiere in April 2022. However, the film has since been pushed back and will hit theaters on June 2, 2023. The third sequel, initially titled Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Part II, has been renamed Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse and is scheduled for release in March 2024.
