Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo’s divorce is once again a hot topic after the former’s agency, HighZium Studio, confirmed he’s back in the dating game.
After tying the knot in 2017 and calling it quits in 2019, fans still wonder why Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo ended up divorcing. Though it was officially announced it was because of “personality differences,” their followers seemed unconvinced.
The Talks About Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo’s Marriage
In a discussion on Nate’s community Pann, via AllKpop, a netizen asked if The Glory star had done something wrong to her ex-husband.
“It doesn't look like anything's been confirmed, but why are people saying that Song Joong Ki has bad luck when it comes to women?” he continued. “What did Song Hye Kyo do?"
As expected, many answered the question, with one netizen saying the actress acted like the “victim in the media,” but the Reborn Rich star warned her that allegedly made her quiet.
"There's no man who wouldn't fall for a face like that. Song Joong Ki even said that she was her ideal type. What would you know," another responded.
"Why are people saying Song Hye Kyo tempted him? During promotions for 'Descendants of the Sun', he was totally flirting with her," a different fan suggested.
Another claimed that Song Hye Kyo is known for “being crazy about men,” while others explained that no one really knew what happened after the ex-couple chose not to reveal anything.

“It's funny to say that there's no wrongdoing because it hasn't been revealed," a netizen stressed.
Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo’s Divorce
Song Joong Ki first filed for divorce from Song Hye Kyo. After that, the latter released a statement about the matter through her agency, United Artists Agency Jet Tone Films.
“We find it unfortunate that we are greeting you with unhappy news. After careful consideration, actress Song Hye Kyo and her husband are taking the first steps toward a divorce,” it said, via Soompi.

“The reason [for the divorce] is differences in personality, and because the two were unable to overcome their differences, they were forced to come to this decision,” it continued. “We respectfully ask for your understanding in regards to the fact that we cannot confirm any further details out of respect for the two actors’ personal lives. Additionally, we urge you to refrain from making scandalous posts and speculative comments.”
Alternatively, Song Joong Ki also released an official statement to apologize to their fans and revealed his hopes for an amicable divorce.
