The outlet noted that Janelle has been supportive of the polygamous patriarch. She enjoys a better relationship with Kody than her sister wives Meri and Christine, who often butt head with Kody.
However, the outlet noted that based on her Instagram activity, she might have left Kody too. The decision probably had nothing to do with her relationship with Kody but her desire for independence.
This past summer, she shared her decision to live on her own in an RV. Also, she argued with the way Kody and his legal wife Robyn Brown handled the pandemic.
Kody and Robyn were quarantined together and said it would be best for them to separate. But the other sister wives, like Janelle, believed it would be better if they had quarantined together.
Screen Rant suggested that Janelle being forced to spend time away from Kody may have compelled her to ditch Arizona and return to Utah.

Multiple sources claimed that Christine Brown had already left Kody. She allegedly sold her home in Arizona and moved back to Utah.
In Sister Wives Season 16 teaser, Christine didn't hide her frustration in a polygamous marriage. According to her, it seems that Kody already has a happy family with Robyn.
"Why would I wanna live on a property with a dysfunctional marriage while right over there he has a fully functional marriage. Who would ever want to live like that," Christine says in the teaser.
