Sister Wives Season 16 trailer revealed the different struggles of Kody Brown and his four sister wives Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn. Each of them is unhappy about something, but Christine is visibly upset with her relationship with Kody and seems to be planning to leave him.
Sister Wives Season 16: Christine Questions Her Relationship With Kody
Kody and his four wives have been in a polygamous relationship for years. However, it seems that one of the sister wives is no longer happy with the arrangement.
In the teaser for Sister Wives Season 16, Christine said that she wanted to return to Utah after the family moved to Arizona.
Christine also pointed out Kody's perfect setup with Robyn. For her, Kody's marriage to Robyn is the best, and that makes her feel like she has no place for Kody's life anymore and wants to find it somewhere else.
"Why would I wanna live on a property with a dysfunctional marriage while right over there he has a fully functional marriage. Who would ever want to live like that," Christine says per this video.
Sister Wives Season 16 Spoiler: Christine Might Leave Kody Before Meri
Meri Brown is Kody's first wife. They were married in 1990. It's not a secret that Meri is also unhappy with his marriage to Kody. Her marriage is the only legal union among the four wives. Despite her reservations, after he had three more wives, she stayed.
Many are looking forward to seeing Meri leave Kody. However, according to Screen Rant, Christine might be the first to leave Kody ahead of Meri.
The outlet noted that, unlike Meri, Christine's marriage to Kody isn't legally binding. Also, she just sold her Arizona home and slammed her relationship with Kody.
In the Sister Wives Season 16 teaser, Christine said she wanted to go back to Utah. The Sun obtained legal documents where Christine sold her Arizona home, which she once shared with Kody for $700,000 earlier this month.
In the deed, Christine, the grantor of the property, listed herself as a "single woman." Again, Christine and Robyn are not legally married. She is his third spiritual wife.
Kody and his four sister wives Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn, will return next month.
Sister Wives Season 16 premieres on Nov. 21 at 10:00 p.m. ET on TLC.
