Shazam! Fury of The Gods Clip Reveals Unexpected Batman Cameo

There is little doubt that people are expecting other superheroes to appear in Shazam! Fury of the Gods. So who is going to show up in the highly anticipated DC Extended Universe sequel? A new clip has just confirmed that we're getting an unexpected cameo from a fan-favorite Batman actor.

The new Shazam! Fury of the Gods clip features Freddy Freeman as he first meets Rachel Zegler's mysterious Anthea. When two other boys try to talk to the girl, Freddy jokes that they might not be the best people to show her around. This leads to a fight that is broken up by a teacher played by Diedrich Bader.

He might not look familiar to most DC fans but they have heard of him. Diedrich Bader is the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman: The Brave and The Bold and Harley Quinn. Sure, he's not Ben Affleck or Michael Keaton or even Robert Pattinson but we're glad to see Bader has a supporting role in Shazam 2.

For now, Diedrich Bader's role in Shazam! Fury of the Gods has not yet been revealed. However, there is a good chance he will only have a minor supporting role that will be an awesome cameo that fans can look forward to. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods will follow Billy Batson and the rest of the Shazam family as they face off against the Daughters of Atlas who are searching for a weapon that could destroy the world.

The sequel is directed by David F. Sandberg and will bring back Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, and Djimon Hounsou. Zegler, Helen Mirren, and Lucy Liu will also join the cast as the Daughters of Atlas. The film will hit theaters on March 17, 2023.
