On the same day of the release of Shadow and Bone Season 2, the fans of the Grishaverse are not just delighted for another installment of the series, but also, they are excited with the possible tease of a Six of Crows spinoff series.
From a report on EW, while the project is yet to be given a go signal by Netflix, the showrunners of Shadow and Bone, Eric Heisserer and Daegan Fryklind, may have already teased that a Six of Crows spinoff is already under development.
Heisserer said, "One of the reasons, not all of them, that I got the privilege of working with Daegan Fryklind as co-showrunner in season 2 is that I was busy with the writers' room for Six of Crows. We are ready to launch that as its own story."
Heisserer added, "[The Six of Crows spin-off] would be its own little season of fun that our characters would get to be a part of."

Shadow and Bone Season 2 witnessed the members of the Crows taking their own paths. The relationship of Kaz and Inej remains in murky waters as one would not easily give into the other without conditions.
Inej seems to have chartered the ship of Mal, now under the name of Sturmhond, as she looks for her brother who may have been held captive inside a slaver's ship, while Kaz retakes control over Ketterdam and reinstates the power of the Crows.
Meanwhile, Nina Zenik seems to have been having some troubles after her beau, Matthias, got caught in trouble while in prison after sealing a dangerous deal with a familiar villain, Pekka Rollins.
Then, there's Jesper, who is now a loud and proud Durast Grisha, and his own beau, Wylan Hendricks, who is the explosives expert of the Crows. Their relationship is just starting to bloom as they both have to reconcile some things from within themselves.
The introduction of the "jurda parem" in the finale is one of the things that the Shadow and Bone Six of Crows spinoff series could focus on as they have been given such task to trace where the addictive drug is being made.
