Shadow and Bone Season 2 is finally coming to Netflix next month and there is little doubt that fans are already excited to catch up with Alina Starkov and Mal Oretsev. But what's happening to the Crows? Showrunner Eric Heisserer teased the storyline for Kaz, Inej, and Jesper, confirming that they will be getting a new member this March.

Eric Heisserer recently spoke to SFX magazine where he was asked what's in store for the Crows (via GamesRadar). Interestingly, the showrunner stated that it's not all good for the team.

"In this case, it could be revenge," Heisserer said. "It could be survival. There are other aspects in play I can’t speak to."

Although Eric Heisserer is playing coy about the Crows' current situation, he did discuss their new member who will be showing up in Shadow and Bone Season 2. Wylan Hendriks is finally getting his live-action debut and will be played by Jack Wolfe, and Heisserer confirmed that his arrival is an exciting one for the group.

"Wylan gets roped into the latest shenanigans the Crows find themselves in," Heisserer said. "He is put on a mission to help the Crows and that’s how we get to see him interact with the rest of the team, including Jesper."

In the books, Wylan is introduced in Leigh Bardugo's Six of Crows and immediately becomes an important member of the group. With that in mind, we can't wait to see how the demolition expert fits into the Crows.

Shadow and Bone Season 2 will bring back Freddy Carter as Kaz, Amita Suman as Inej, and Kit Young as Jesper. They will be reunited with Jessie Mei Li, Archie Renaux, and Ben Barnes as Alina, Mal, and The Darkling, respectively.

Shadow and Bone Season 2 will finally premiere on Netflix on March 16, 2023.
