Screenwriter for DC’s Booster Gold Film Confirmed

It was announced recently that Warner Bros. is set to make a Booster Gold film. The man behind DC hits such as Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl, Greg Berlanti, had been confirmed as producer. However, other details about the film's creative team remains unknown. While the studio is still searching for the right director to helm the film, we now know who will pen the script.

It looks like the film's screenwriter will be making a big jump from Marvel. The revelation came from rumored Thor and X-Men: First Class screenwriter, Zack Stentz.

Apparently, Stentz confirmed that he will be writing for the Booster Gold movie during Screen Junkies' Movie Fights YouTube show (h/t Cinema Blend) while guest starring with Kevin Smith.

He said:

I am jumping into the DC Universe with both feet, and I am at least, until they fire me, I'm gonna be writing Booster Gold — for the big screen.

Aside from Thor and X-Men: First Class, Stentz's superhero genre repertoire include scripts for several other films like the Power Rangers reboot, as well as science fiction TV episodes. This further proves that he's more than up for the job.

From the looks of it, Stentz has experience from almost every genre, so it will be interesting to see what kind of Booster Gold movie he can come up with.
