Green Lantern Corps Could Be Pushed Back As Far As 2020

It seems that DC's green space police team is always out of luck. When the Ryan Reynolds-starring Green Lantern was released in 2011, it tanked both in commercial and critical fronts. Now, it seems that the new Green Lantern Corps movie is being pushed back by Warner Bros.

While this could mean that the movie will only be shown after the Justice League films and every other Justice League member's solo film, fans shouldn't lose hope.

According to The Wrap, the change is due to Warner Bros.' recent major reshuffling of some of its upcoming films. These include Godzilla 2 moved from 8, 2018 to March 22, 2019, as well as Godzilla vs. King Kong moved to May 29, 2020. There's also a film, which WB has not named, that has been moved from June 19, 2020 to July 24, 2020. Many speculated this to be Green Lantern Corps.

In any case, nothing is certain at this point since WB hasn't stated it for a fact. For now, fans of Hal Jordan and the rest of the defenders of Sector 2814 could only hope for the best.
