Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow, died after she sacrificed herself in Avengers: Endgame to obtain the Soul StoneHowever, her time with Marvel is reportedly not over yet.

While the report was certain about Johansson's return, it can't surely say which movies she will be part of.

The outlet suggested that she's probably part of the upcoming Infinity War/Endgame-style massive crossover Avengers movies. She can return as Black Widow in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, which are both scheduled to hit theaters in 2025 and 2026.

The two films have been promoted as part of the climax of the Multiverse Saga, where the Marvel superheroes will come face to face against the might of Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors).

The third film probably movie that will feature Johansson is Captain America: New World Order, which will also bring Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, a.k.a Captain America. Evans will only make a brief appearance because Anthony Mackie is already the new Captain America.

Johansson and Evans' tandem as Black Widow and Cap, respectively, had been featured in the 2014 movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier. So a reunion tandem is not unlikely to happen.

How Did Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow Die?

In one scene on Avengers: Endgame, Natasha and her best friend Clint Barton, a.k.a Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), went together to Vormir to obtain the Soul Stone to stop Thanos from annihilating the entire universe. However, one soul had to be sacrificed to get the stone. "A soul for a soul," their companion said.

Clint and Natasha had an emotional conversation before they started to fight, not to sacrifice each other but to offer themselves and protect the other. They ended up hanging on a cliff together after Natasha stopped Clint from jumping off and tied him to a rope. He immediately caught her hand to stop her from falling.

Clint woke up in a pool several miles away from the cliff with the Soul Stone in his hand. He cried at the realization that Natasha died for it.
