Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 for private life and to be financially independent of the royal family. However, a royal expert claimed that the Duchess of Sussex's two interests does not allegedly include him.
What Does Meghan Markle Want?
British journalist and investigative reporter Tom Bower appeared on GB News and spoke with Dan Wootton. He weighed in on Markle's interests in life. The former BBC correspondent said Markle is out there for her own interests and accused the Duchess of Sussex of producing an "extraordinary marketing campaign," Express reported.
"The truth what were seeing is an extraordinary marketing campaign by Meghan whose no. 1 interest is herself and the second interest is money," Bower said on GB News.
"And the question is how would she make a lot of money in a short period of time, in the end, to make sure she doesn't need always to parade herself as the victim of the royal family. She's always looking for other business opportunities."
The Revenge author added that it's interesting how Markle goes to maximize her popularity. She is allegedly eyeing those who are going to make her big really rich.
"Harry was one step, but will she keep Harry for long?" Bower asked. "Perhaps Harry will become redundant to her ambitions in the near future."
"That's why she was so dissatisfied with Frogmore, she wanted a palace, not five cottages knocked into a small home in Windsor."
Will Meghan Markle Dump Prince Harry For A Billionaire?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spoke about their previous home, Nottingham Cottage, in their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan. Both said it was too small and claimed that Oprah Winfrey couldn't believe its size.
"No one would ever believe it," Winfrey reportedly said when she visited the royal couple at Nottingham Cottage.
"As far as people were concerned, we were living in a palace," Prince Harry said in the fourth episode of Harry & Meghan, according to Yahoo! News. "And we were, in a cottage."

"In palace grounds," he and Markle spoke in unison.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently living in a $14 million mansion in Montecito. However, last year, there were reports claiming that they were looking for a property in the affluent neighborhood of Hope Ranch, California.
Royal biographer Tina Brown, author of The Palace Papers, echoed Bower's sentiment about the couple. Despite their wealth and privilege, their neighbors reportedly have more than them.

"In Montecito, where they live, their $14-million mansion is a humble cottage compared to what these other people have," Brown said, referring to their multi-million mansion, The Telegraph.
Brown joked that Markle could be looking for more than just a new home but someone who is also a billionaire.
"Yes, and at some point, it might be more than a new house she's looking for," Brown joked. "Elon Musk is still single; that's all I have to say."
