Rent-a-Girlfriend recently shared a new visual of Mami Nanami to hype up the release of Season 3 this summer.
While she’s considered by many to be the worst girl on the show, there’s no denying that Mami looks stunning in this new visual.
It wasn’t mentioned if this visual hints at the upcoming events of Season 3, though it might be a reference to the story’s upcoming movie arc. After all, this Mami’s look in this visual is a clear reference to an iconic Hollywood film.
Rent-a-Girlfiend’s Worst Girl, Mami Nanami
As with many harem romance anime, there’s a lot of debate among fans about which girl is the best. While many consider Chizuru Mizuhara to be the best, others are on team Ruka and team Sumi.
While that debate will rage on until the series ends, it’s clear that most fans think that Mami is easily the worst of the bunch because of her manipulative personality.
Mami is the ex-girlfriend of the protagonist Kazuya Kinoshita. While Mami broke up with Kazuya quickly, she remains a thorn in his side when she spots him with Chizuru.
What makes Mami the worst is that she’s constantly manipulating Kazuya. While she sometimes seems kind and sweet, she is conniving underneath as she wants Kazuya and Chizuru to stop seeing each other.
Fans can’t deny that Mami is not a sympathetic character in Rent-a-Girlfriend, though it’s fair to say that without her, the series won’t be as dramatic as it is.

Mami Looks Classy in this New Rent-a-Girlfriend Visual
In the anime’s new visual, Mami Nanami is shown wearing a striking black dress and a fancy necklace in front of a jewelry store. In her hands are a cup of coffee and a croissant.
This visual is taken straight out of the classic Hollywood film Breakfast at Tiffany’s starring Audrey Hepburn.
Specifically, the visual recreates the film’s iconic opening scene where Audrey Hepburn steps out of a car in front of Tiffany & Co. with breakfast in hand.
Interestingly, Mami is the star of this new visual. After all, the next season will introduce a new girl named Mini Yaemori whom many expected to be highlighted in promotional material.
Though we should see more of Mini in more Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 3 trailers and visuals which are expected to release ahead of the anime’s July 2023 premiere.
