Mohamed Al-Fayed Alleged That Queen Consort Camilla Hated Kate Middleton

But many years ago, the father of Princess Diana's former lover, Mohamed Al-Fayed, shared his criticisms of Queen Consort Camilla. According to Al-Fayed, Camilla most likely hates Middleton because she knows she has a bigger following than her.

"I think Camilla will hate Kate. When she realizes that the people love Kate a hundred times more than her. She could also join the hate campaign," he told Radar Online.

The hate campaign that Al-Fayed is talking about is being pinned on the late Duke of Edinburgh. According to him, Prince Philip had the tendency of starting hate campaigns against members of the royal family that he disliked.

"His [Philip's] usual tactic is to get his henchmen, those crusty old courtiers who know every little secret, to begin a smear campaign if he thinks she is not groveling to him enough. And if that fails, he will then pour poison into the ears of the rest of the family. He will turn them against her through no fault of her own," Al-Fayed said.

Is Camilla Parker-Bowles Jealous Of Kate Middleton?

The father of Dodi Al-Fayed also claimed that Camilla is jealous of Middleton because Queen Elizabeth loved the latter more than the former. In fact, the 96-year-old monarch allegedly left her jewelry collection with Prince William's wife.

"Kate is clearly the family favorite. [Camilla] would never say it of course, but it's one of the reasons Camilla resented Kate," he said.

However, there's no indication that Al-Fayed's claims are accurate. And it's not also true that there's some form of competition between Queen Consort Camilla and Middleton.

Queen Consort Camilla And Kate Middleton Have Been Supporting Each Other In Recent Years

In fact, now that Camilla is the new queen consort, eagle-eyed royal fans and body language experts noticed that Middleton recently bowed her head when greeting her mother-in-law, unlike Meghan Markle.

"Kate dips her chin in respect and keeps her head bowed a lot in the clips we saw of her and Meghan holds her chin level which is a sign of confidence. Chin raised can look arrogant and chin dipped is lowering yourself but chin straight on is a sign of confidence," body language expert Adrienne Carter told Daily Star.

Camilla and Middleton also stood together at Queen Elizabeth's funeral. According to Metro UK, the two royal women have been close at royal engagements since the queen passed away. And this signifies a royal partnership.

But years ago, royal expert Tom Quinn claimed that Camilla didn't immediately warm up to Middleton.

"I'd heard that Camilla wasn't very keen on Kate. She didn't shoot, she wasn't very interested in horses particularly. There was too much of a gap and William would feel it," he said.

But in recent years, it seems their relationship has changed and improved.
