Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice may be closer in age, but it seems the former has formed a tighter bond with Princess Eugenie. The latter is expecting her second child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
Did Princess Eugenie Inform Prince Harry And Meghan Markle About Her Pregnancy First?
According to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, it is possible for Princess Eugenie to have informed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle about her second pregnancy first. Of course, it goes without saying that her immediate family members, like Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, and Princess Beatrice, were the first to find out that she was expecting.
But outside of her immediate family, Seward said that Prince Harry and Markle could’ve been next in line.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex would have been amongst the first to hear the news of Eugenie’s pregnancy. Meghan and Harry are close with Eugenie – and not only has she stayed with them in California, but they have been on holidays together before Harry’s marriage. If the Sussexes come to the coronation in May, there will be an added incentive to see Eugenie as by then it is doubtful if she will want to travel herself,” Seward said (via New Idea).

Prince Harry And Princess Eugenie Are Reportedly Very Close
Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry have always been very close. In the documentary Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed that one of the first royals that Markle met was Princess Eugenie.
The couple also went to a Halloween party disguised in their costumes alongside Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank.
Months after Prince Harry and Markle relocated to the United States, Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank also visited them there. They were photographed having a meal together at a lavish restaurant in California.
Sarah Ferguson, Buckingham Palace Congratulated Princess Eugenie On Her Second Pregnancy
Princess Eugenie isn’t the only person who is thrilled to be expecting again. Her mom Fergie couldn’t also contain her excitement after she heard the news that she would become a grandmother for the third time.
On her Instagram account, Fergie posted an adorable photo of her grandson, August, who will be turning 2 years old on Feb. 9.
“You will be sharing puddles, Augie! Superb news, Granny heaven…. So deeply grateful,” she wrote (via People).
Prince Andrew did not release an official statement congratulating Princess Eugenie on her second pregnancy. But Buckingham Palace released a statement on behalf of the royal family.
“Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer. The family is delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother,” the statement read.
