What was the Plot of Princess Diaries?

Mia did not want to be a princess at first, but Mia, her mother, and her grandmother came to an agreement - Queen Clarisse would teach Mia how to be a princess until the royal ball. Mia transforms from awkward teen to a capable princess, ready to take on her responsibility as Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, Princess of Genovia.
