Prince Harry will soon release his first memoir, and royal fans and experts have predictions on what he would mention in the book. Some are saying that the royal family should be concerned because the Duke of Sussex could attack them in his memoir. On the other hand, some royal experts and fans are convinced that the book will solely focus on Prince Harry’s life because this is what he said in his official statement.

Prince Harry’s Memoir Isn’t Intended As A ‘Burn Book’

Royal biographer Omid Scobie recently weighed in on the matter and said that it’s unlikely for Prince Harry to write something negative about Queen Elizabeth. After all, his memoir isn’t intended to be a burn book.

“Harry really is going out of his way to make sure that there isn’t material in there [the book] that can be seen as negative towards the Queen or her reign in any way whatsoever, and he really wants to celebrate her life and his relationship with her in that book,” Scobie said on the Royally Obsessed podcast.

“I think as much as the press want this to be a burn book and an attack on the institution, this is more just about his story, and of course, his story is so much more than just the few years of his life as the Duke of Sussex. I think for people expecting that warts and all moment, it’s not going to happen. That said, it’s still going to be fascinating,” Scobie added.

Prince Harry Could Allegedly Target Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince Charles In His Memoir

However, not all royal experts agree with Scobie. Last month, an unnamed friend of Prince Harry said that Camilla Parker Bowles should be worried about her stepson’s memoir. Since the two aren’t allegedly close, the Duchess of Cornwall could allegedly be one of Prince Harry’s targets.

During his interview on the Royally Obsessed podcast, royal author Andrew Morton also said that he thinks the royal family should be concerned, most especially Prince Charles. Since the father and son had a falling out years ago, it’s possible that the future king could be in the firing line.

“If I was Prince Charles, I’d be looking for a pile of coats to hide under. Because I think that the book that’s going to come out next year is written by someone who spends a lot of time investigating father-son relationships because he ghost-wrote the book on Andre Agassi, who had a difficult relationship with his father. So, I think we’re going to see Charles once more in the firing line. So, if I was Prince Charles, I’d be looking for a hard hat and a flak jacket,” Morton said.

Prince Harry’s Wife Previously Worked With Omid Scobie

It's also possible for Scobie’s predictions to be entirely biased in favor of Prince Harry. After all, the biographer has always had a wonderful relationship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

He was the one that wrote the controversial book, Finding Freedom. And when reporters asked him if Prince Harry and Markle contributed to the book, he said no. But it was later revealed that Markle wrote an email to Scobie to share some insights about what will be written in Finding Freedom.

As of press writing, the official release date of Prince Harry’s memoir hasn’t been confirmed. But sources revealed that it would be available at the latter part of the year.
