Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still renting Frogmore Cottage even if they are already based in Los Angeles. However, King Charles reportedly want them to vacate the residence.

Why King Charles Want Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, To Vacate Frogmore Cottage?

It's not a secret that the Sussexes' relationship with the royal family is strained. Prince Harry only made it obvious in his and Markle's Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan and his controversial book Spare.

The Sussexes just got a notice to evict their home in London, Frogmore Cottage. Royal expert Tom Bower weighed in on the matter and seemingly blamed Prince Harry and Markle. According to the British journalist and investigative reporter, it was the royal couple who prompted the King to make such a decision.

Bower told Page Six:

"Harry and Meghan provoked him [King Charles] with Harry's disgraceful book and the interviews he gave."

He continued:

"I mean what did he expect? Harry wanted the royal family to come on bended knee begging for forgiveness and he's completely crossed the spectrum, he's in the mad wilderness of deranged victimhood."

Royal Family Wants To Cut Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Out?

An anonymous source seemingly echoed the same sentiment to royal correspondent and biographer Omid Scobie. The tipster said in Scobie's article on Yahoo! News:

"Harry and Meghan have until early summer to vacate. Initially, they were given just weeks, but now they have at least until after the coronation."

Omid noted that the King's decision is a clear sign of how sour the relationship between him and his youngest son has become. The Finding Freedom co-author speculated that it was King Charles' response to Prince Harry's tell-all, which reportedly made him "spitting mad."

The tipster told Scobie:

"It all feels very final and like a cruel punishment. It's like [the family] want to cut them out of the picture for good."

King Charles reportedly didn't offer alternative accommodation to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. With Prince Harry and Markle having no home in England, the chances of them visiting London are slim.

However, King Charles seemed not to mind and is reportedly sticking with his decision. The insider added:

"I think the King is just fed up with the entire situation."

Buckingham Palace reportedly refused to comment on Scobie's report.
