Prince Harry got back in touch with his exes and “pleaded” to break their vow of silence for his upcoming book “Spare,” which is set to be released in January 2023.
Prince Harry Contacted His Exes For Content?
Sources told Bella UK, in its latest edition, that the former ladylove and pals of Prince Harry were “stunned” when he asked them to speak to his ghostwriter JR Moehringer before “politely” declining the request.
An unnamed insider told the entertainment news outlet:
“Harry did reach out. Friends and girlfriends were polite and said they would think about it, but ultimately most said no. It was felt to be kind of ironic that Harry would hit the roof if he ever had an inkling they spoke to the media, but now he wants them to when he needs their help.”
The revelations that Prince Harry had approached friends and the other women in his life provoked a furious backlash from online commenters who branded him a “hypocrite” over his request. One anonymous tipster stated:
“Harry the hypocrite. Just imagine his rage if his old pals had spoken to the media.”
Another informant shared:
“Strange how when it suits his interests, he wants people to cooperate with media, despite claiming such distress from press and media intrusion.”
In October, Prince Harry divulged that his forthcoming bombshell biography titled “Spare” would be released on January 20, 2023, the day before Kate Middleton’s birthday.
The memoir, the first in a multi-million-pound book deal, would include his full account behind his decision to give up royal duties in 2020 and move to the United States, where he and Meghan Markle now live with their two kids – Archie and Lilibet.
Publishers at Penguin Random House stated:
“For Harry, this is his story at last. With its raw, unflinching honesty, Spare is a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.”
Royal Family Braces Over Prince Harry's Book?
The imminent book of Prince Harry, which has garnered controversy since its announcement, is thought to be a “make or break” situation for the royal’s already-tense relationship with his family, especially with his father, King Charles III and elder brother, Prince William. Senior royals are allegedly bracing themselves over the book’s release, which is said to be “critical of everyone and everything.”
A tattler told The Sun:
“This book is much worse than people think. The book has been back and forth between Harry and JR Moehringer and the publishers a few times. This is because the publishers wanted some areas covered in more detail. There is a real concern that means Harry has had to sex up the book and include revelations that even he might not be that comfortable with.”
Another source told Daily Mirror:
“This book could spell the end for any relationship Harry wants to have with his family. It’s very sad.”
The memoir of Prince Harry comes amid speculations that his relationship with the other royal family members has hit “rock bottom,” following Meghan Markle and his explosive interviews since they stepped back from being working royals.
Meghan Markle was also accused of orchestrating Prince Harry’s book. Royal biographer Tom Bower said on Good Morning Britain:
“His book is really Meghan’s. Meghan is the person who’s dictated the agenda. She has read every word. She’s highly intelligent, very sophisticated.”
Prince Harry has yet to comment on the claims that he begged his former ladyloves to speak for his upcoming memoir titled Spare. So, devoted followers of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should take all these unverified reports with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
