Pokemon Sun and Moon Alolan Forms Get Plushies

The recent video from The Pokemon Company has revealed a rather colorful Alolan version of Grimer and Muk for Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Fans who are looking forward to the game can also look forward to some plushie toys for some Alolan counterparts. Spotted by PokeShopper, there are three leaked Pokemon Sun and Moon Alolan variants that may be part of your plushie collection.

There's Raichu, the tanned surfer ‘mon, with its tail for a surfboard and a nice winking face. The all-white Ice Pokemon Vulpix looks very cuddly and clean. Alolan Meowth, whose form has changed thanks to its life of luxury in the Alolan region, looks the part down to the sluggish eyes and lazy smile.

So far, the plushie collections are still leaked scans. According to the report, they stand at 12cm in height and set to be released by Banpresto.

There's no definite release date yet, though a February 2017 window has been set. There also hasn't been confirmation for toy plushie versions of the other Alolan variant ‘mons. But previously, we've seen plushie versions of the starters.

That's a shame, because Alolan Sandshrew, Ninetales, and Marowak will all make some pretty good plushies. In fact, even the recent revealed new Pokemon and Ultimate Beasts will make a great plushie collection.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be out on the Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 18.
