Peter Pan & Wendy Blows Disney’s Live-Action Remake Record Amid The Little Mermaid’s Premiere

On the brink of Disney releasing yet another live-action remake, The Little Mermaid, their most recent Peter Pan & Wendy is not doing well on the streamer.

Released on April 28 on the streamer, Peter Pan & Wendy is another remake of the classic 1953 Disney animated film, Peter Pan.

The live remake, as of writing, has the worst Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 13 percent, which is 15 percent worse than the live-action remake of Pinocchio back in 2022.

As of April 2023, the top three Disney live-remakes are 2021’s Cruella (97%), 2019’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (95%) and 2019’s Aladdin (94%).
