After a more subdued second episode, it looks like the next one is about to heat things up. Recently, the Oshi no Ko Episode 3 preview was released, and it shows that Kana Arima will play a big role in the upcoming events.
Kana is one of the most popular characters in the series among manga fans. And while she did appear in Episodes 1 and 2, she wasn’t a major part of the storylines.
Now though, the preview heavily features Kana, meaning fans of her are getting quite excited.
Kana Arima’s Role in the Next Episodes
In the first Oshi no Ko episode, Kana made a memorable appearance as the genius child actress, though she was floored by Aqua’s acting skills, enough that she cried over it.
After that scene, Kana did not appear anymore in the first episode as the feature-length premiere focused on Ai Hoshino and her two kids.
As for Episode 2, Kana only appeared in the final scene as it turns out that she’s attending the same school as Aqua and Ruby.
Keen to rekindle her rivalry with Aqua, Kana is shocked to find out that he has enrolled in the general course. Then the episode ends.
For anime-only fans, these events and her appearance in the opening are already hints that she will play a bigger role as the season progresses.
Without getting into manga spoiler territory, Kana will indeed be a major player in the series, especially in the next arc.

Oshi no Ko Releases Episode 3 Preview
Ahead of the third episode’s release tomorrow, a new preview for Oshi no Ko was shared on YouTube, and it features quick snippets of new scenes.
From the looks of it, Ruby might take a backseat here as many of the scenes in the trailer feature the red-haired girl who licks baking soda. In these scenes, Kana will be with Aqua.
Based on the pace of the second episode, it’s likely that this next one will cover three chapters in the manga, namely Chapters 14-16.
Following the preview’s release, fans of the manga on Reddit were elated to see more of Kana in the anime.
With Kana being a major character in the next episode and arc, we’ll likely see a lot of her on anime discussion platforms online.
