The show’s official YouTube channel recently released an Oshi no Ko documentary with English subtitles that gives fans a peek at how the anime was made.

This is a nice treat for international fans of the series as it’s rare for a behind-the-scenes feature like this to get English subtitles.

After every Oshi no Ko episode, special videos are released on the channel featuring interviews, including one of Aka Akasaka and another featuring Kana Arima VA Megumi Han. Sadly, these don’t have English subs yet.

Finally, the show’s staff is giving love to international fans by releasing the first part of a documentary series which gives an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the anime’s production.

In the video, several members of the show’s staff, including its directors and producers, shared interesting insights about the show’s creation.

Interestingly, they revealed that pretty much everyone working on it is a big fan of the original manga.

Because of this, they didn’t want to cut out any part of the source material.

To this end, the staff members decided that it would be best to present the whole first volume as a nearly movie-length episode to preserve the experience for viewers.
