From the manga series of Eiichiro Oda, One Piece Film: Red nears its release in Japan and a new promo video for the upcoming movie reveals that the Big Mom Pirates will be joining Luffy and the Straw Hats in their new adventure.

In the newest promo for One Piece Film: Red, the bIg Mom Pirates will be coming back on the scene with Charlotte Katakuri who leads the Sweet Commanders and sees the future, Charlotte Oven who creates heat and molten flame, and Charlotte Brulee who can enter the alternate dimension, "Mirro-world."

In the manga of One Piece, Whole Cake Island arc, the Big Mom Pirates are the antagonists and their return in One Piece Film: Red hints that they will be among the villains in the movie.

Eiichiro Oda will be the executive producer of One Piece: Red with Goro Taniguchi as the director, and Tsutomi Kuroiwa as the writer.

One Piece: Red follows the story of Uta, the world's most beloved singer given her mysterious identity and her voice sounding "otherworldly." In a live concert, Uta will be making a reveal of her true identity. As every fan of Uta fills the place, including Luffy and the Straw Hats, everyone is shocked to learn that she is the daughter of Shanks.

One Piece is a Japanese manga series by Eiichiro Oda. It was first released in July 1997 and it is currently published on Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump, and on Viz Media. It follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates as they look for the fabled treasure known as the “One Piece” which would give Luffy the title of the King of the Pirates.

One Piece: Red is expected for a release in Japan on August 6, 2022. It will arrive in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand this fall via Crunchyroll.
