Here’s What Happened Before One Piece Chapter 1084
The title of One Piece Chapter 1083 is The Truth of That Day. It features a reader-requested cover of Doflamingo offering his coat as a new home for a chick that fell from the sky.
The chapter begins at Kamabakka Queendom with Sabo, Emporio, and Dragon’s meeting.
Sabo shared that he completed all three of his objectives: destroying the symbol of the Celestial Dragons in a declaration of war; freeing as many slaves as possible and taking back Kuma; and venturing into the land of the gods and destroying their food stockpile.
Emporio acknowledged Sabo’s efforts, noting how the latter drew the world’s attention.
He also recognized Sabo’s methods for keeping a large part of the Navy’s strength occupied.
Dragon joined the conversation, sharing how their influence has reached a dozen countries around the world. It pushed the people to take arms, which ended in eight successful revolutions.
Emporio added that out of those eight countries, one was Lulusia, which mysteriously vanished without a trace.
Still, Dragon believed that it wouldn’t be written in the papers even if the seven countries were now under new leadership.
These countries also cut off all heavenly tributes to the government and stopped exporting natural resources.
All around the world, the revolutionaries are attacking government ships and cutting off vital supply lines to Marijoa.
It may be an impenetrable fortress because of its great elevation, but they have no defense against a lack of food, much to Emporio’s delight.
Despite this, Dragon knows about the Holy Knights and how they will affect the revolution.
When the government manages to mobilize the Holy Knights, Dragon knows that’s when the real fight will begin.
The Holy Knights will be after Sabo most of all, regardless of the truth behind the assassination of King Cobra. After all, this incident has turned Sabo into a hero in the people’s eyes.
At this point, Emporio and Dragon demanded to hear the truth behind the news of Sabo assassinating King Cobra.
He was photographed standing over King Cobra’s dead body, and the two of them want to know the truth behind it.
Over one month earlier, during the Reverie, four revolutionary captains had been sighted in Sacred Marijoa. They desecrated the symbol of nobility and took the people’s gourmet food.
It was complete chaos, as some of the nobles fled out of fear. Some also want to catch all the intruders and strike off their heads.
And when it’s done, they want to put their security forces to the sword next, for they deserve death for letting this happen to them.
One of the nobles is struggling to flee, but his slave is just too slow to pull him away.
He tried to kill the slave, that is until Karasu appeared and stole the noble’s gun.
Karasu informs the slave to run into town to the east. The noble’s bodyguards open fire against Karasu, but he takes no damage.
Apparently, Karasu has eaten the Soot-Soot devil fruit, which allows him to turn his body into soot and morph it to his will.
He defeats the bodyguards with ease by using an attack he calls "Obelisoots."
Meanwhile, Lindbergh also appears to rescue the slaves as Karasu notifies him that the Admirals are on their way.
He used his laser shooter to free the slaves and asked them to run to the east side of town so that they could all get out of there together.
Soon after, Karasu found himself fighting Fujitora with a move called "Soul Lotus" to match his opponent’s gravity.
On the other hand, Morley is engaged with Ryokugyu, while some world nobles pressure the latter to be wary of his actions.
They warn Ryokugyu that he will be put to death if anyone gets hurt, much to Ryokugyu’s anger.
Ryokugyu notices Fujitora, who is about to do something bad. He was about to drop a meteor, that is until Ryokugyu stopped him from doing so.
Elsewhere, CP0 members, namely Jabra, Blueno, Kalifa, Fukurou, and Kumadori, watch how chaos unfolds in the land of the gods.
They all admit that the revolutionary captains are serious business, although they are weird.
Sabo informs Karasu that he is about to find the collar. He also informed Lindbergh that Kuma moved to Pangea Castle, along with St. Roswald and his son, Charlos.
He is sure that St. Roswald and his son are plotting revenge for what happened in the mingling courtyard earlier.
Most probably, they haven’t given up on Princess Shirahoshi yet, much to Lindbergh’s dismay.
They do not want Kuma to be associated with such a dirty objective, so Sabo informs Morley to get ready.
What’s more, Jewelry Bonney is running around the castle grounds too to meet Kuma.
At the same time, CP0’s Lucci bothers Nefertari Vivi. He told Vivi that they were all there to protect her, but Vivi couldn’t believe him, seeing how they had refused to help Shirahoshi earlier.
As for Vivi’s father, he was told that he could only get an audience with the Five Elders.
Chaka and Pell tried to protest this decision, but they were ordered to go watch and stand over Vivi instead.

Rumor has it that Sabo's flashback in Sacred Marijoa will continue as King Cobra's conversation with the Five Elders is shown.
Their topic is Queen Lily of Alabasta, who was one of the 20 founders of the World Government in the past.
Accordingly, Queen Lily refused to become a celestial dragon and has been missing ever since she left her country.
To this day, Queen Lily's whereabouts are unknown, and the World Government doesn't have anything to say about her.
What's more, Imu also appeared and talked with Cobra by the end of the chapter.
