Here's What Happened Before One Piece Chapter 1075
The Pacifista Mark III, in the form and image of Bartholomew Kuma, makes its debut in One Piece Chapter 1074. It is one of Dr. Vegapunk's inventions, designed as a far more advanced government weapon than the prototypes used in the Summit War.
They are also known for being Dr. Vegapunk's best line of defense, as they have the ability to use a special move called Bubble Shield.
Sentomaru commands the Pacifista Mark III, and there appear to be 50 of them on standby.
He orders all Pacifistas to ensure that their creator, along with Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates, sails safely out of Egghead Island now that the Frontier Dome has been sealed and Dr. Vegapunk has gone missing.
At Labo Stratum, Luffy informs everyone that no matter how hard he tries, he can't find Dr. Vegapunk and Bonney.
Interestingly, Vegapunk Shaka reveals that Bonney never left the lab based on what he could see through the monitors. However, the main Stella, also known as Dr. Vegapunk, is still missing.
Keeping this in mind, Dr. Vegapunk's satellites and the Straw Hat Pirates must resolve two critical issues before leaving Egghead Island.
One, they must locate Dr. Vegapunk as soon as possible, and two, they must retake control of the Frontier Dome in order to avoid being fried by the lasers.
Everyone volunteers to look for Dr. Vegapunk, including Zoro, who gets insulted by Sanji, Chopper, and Robin because of his bad sense of direction.
While everyone else goes searching, Zoro and Luffy decide to stay and watch Rob Lucci and Kaku's unconscious bodies on the floor.
Meanwhile, Bonney is inside what appears to be Bartholomew Kuma's memory world in the Lab Interior: Paw Room, where she sees a huge kid who resembles Kuma crying in the middle of the field.
A group of people is ganging up on the young boy since they want to prevent Kuma from escaping someplace else. They start to hit the young Kuma here and there, despite his pleas for help.
As she sees his father struggling and in pain, Bonney begins to cry. That's when she was yanked out of Kuma's memory world, knowing her resolve wasn't strong enough to comprehend everything her father had been through.
At the time, Bartholomew Kuma was still climbing the Red Line as the marines attempted to shoot him down.
Elsewhere, Phytagoras is wandering around looking for Dr. Vegapunk when he is attacked by a creeping figure from the shadows.
Aboard the World Economic News Ship, Big News Morgans informs everyone that the marines are trying to assassinate Dr. Vegapunk, despite his reputation as the world’s greatest genius. He also relays the information that Luffy also happens to be on the scene.
This is the perfect scoop for a news article, and Morgan intends to twist the events and use a title that goes like this: Navy Skirmish at Egghead: Emperor Straw Hat Luffy Takes Vegapunk Hostage!
Surprisingly, Nefertari Vivi appears to be trying to stop Morgans from writing such an outrageous news article. She knows Luffy would never do something like that.
Wapol attempts to calm Vivi and prevent her from saying anything else since Morgans has taken them in after the Levely.
Morgans responds angrily, claiming that news isn't about fact or fiction because it's all about entertainment.
