New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Characters Reportedly Revealed

There's a new report claiming that there are three new additions to the cast of Tim Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

What we know right now is that the new cast in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy sequel include Elizabeth Debicki, Tommy Flanagan, Chris Sullivan, and Kurt Russell. However, it remains unknown which characters exactly they will play.

Well according to Comic Book Movie, an insider has told them of who Debicki, Flanagan, and Sullivan will be playing. The CBM source claims are as follows:

> Debicki's character is named Ayesha, who is also called Paragon. Ayesha has been heard to have been tied to other Marvel projects. Ayesha is linked to Adam Warlock as they were both created by the same genetic experiments prior to Ayesha becoming an alien fugitive. Ayesha's birth also featured Doctor Strange, so there's a chance that she could appear in the upcoming film. She also reportedly became Captain Marvel at some point in the Marvel narrative.
> Flanagan's character is reportedly playing the character Tulk, who fits the tough description for one of Yondu's Ravagers. Assumed to be Tullk Ul-Zyn, Tulk has been linked quite a few times to Ronan the Accuser.
> Sullivan's character is reported to be Taserface, who is a member of the Stark race born in the 31st Century. The name has popped up in the Guardians of the Galaxy comics already.

As for Russell, that remains up in the air, though he's been rumored to play Star Lord's old man. James Gunn recently teased a "magnificent" and "really exciting" scene he shot of Russell and Pratt, further fueling rumors they are father and son in the movie.

As with any rumor though, this new bit of information should be taken with a grain of salt. Marvel has been known to keep a strict shroud of secrecy when it comes to its movies, so we won't know for certain whether this report is true or false until Marvel releases an official statement.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is slated for release on May 5, 2017.
