James Gunn Shares Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Sketch: "My Dad Was From The Stars"

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 writer/director James Gunn love to tease fans with his weekly updates, behind-the-scenes photos, and sketches without giving too much away. This week, he shared another sketch of a scene for his Marvel sequel, and he said that it's un-guessable.

"I don't think you'll ever guess what this one is," Gunn writes on his Facebook page, "at least not until the film comes out, but I know that won't stop you from trying."

The image shows three people surrounding what seems to be a pillar of energy field. There seems to be something on the floor. Could that be a ship? Are they investigating a crash site? The image includes a quote from Star-Lord, "My mom always said my dad was from the stars", so it must have something to do with Peter Quill's father. How do you think this scene will unfold?

Earlier this month, Gunn shared another sketch with Groot and Rocket Racoon. Expect Gunn to share more behind-the-scenes stuff from the movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be released in theaters on May 5, 2017.
