A newly released set of images for Deadpool and Wolverine has confirmed that X-Men fan-favorite Toad will be making an appearance in the upcoming film.
Fans have been anticipating the release of the MCU film not only because of the team-up between the titular heroes, but it is also expected to feature appearances from several Fox X-Men characters in the original movies.
So far, Marvel Studios remains mum on the details regarding the rumored X-Men appearances in Deadpool and Wolverine, but we've seen hints on set photos and trailers regarding some of the returning characters that we might see.
Deadpool and Wolverine Images Confirm Toad's Appearance
A new batch of still images for Deadpool and Wolverine have been released which gave fans another look at the highly-anticipated MCU film.
One of the new images confirmed that Toad is making an appearance. It is unknown yet whether Ray Park is reprising the role, but the version looks like his portrayal in the original movie.

Toad's appearance has been rumored for months as the character was spotted on the set photos back when the film was in production late last year.
Now, we have a confirmation that the fan-favorite villain is one of the many familiar faces that we are expecting to show up on Deadpool and Wolverine when we see it on the big screen next month.
So far, the confirmed returning Fox X-Men actors that we are hearing are from supporting players who are not big A-list names that the audience would recognize, and Marvel Studios will likely keep hiding the other bigger names until the release in theaters.
Deadpool and Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters this July 26.
