The Multiverse Saga has opened a door of endless possibilities for the Marvel Cinematic Universe in terms of storytelling and while things haven't been perfect thus far, Kevin Feige and his team of creatives have a golden opportunity at the palm of their hands.

After films like Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gave us a taste of what to expect from the saga, the next MCU project that will have multiversal implications is Deadpool 3.

As it stands, very little is known about Ryan Reynolds' debut MCU flick but reports have been quite persistent that it will involve some multiversal shenanigans which makes complete sense as the Merch with a Mouth is set to make his Earth-616 crossover.

Now, a new rumor suggests that the R-rated film which also stars Hugh Jackman will be as explosive as Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield's 2021 team-up.

Twitter insider @CanWeGetToast claims that the third Deadpool film will basically serve as the FoxVerse's version of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

While the scooper didn't go much into detail about what they meant, we'd like to assume that Deadpool 3 will match No Way Home in terms of fan service, if not surpass what the Spider-Man flick was able to achieve.

If you've been following the latest rumors about the film, it is said that Deadpool 3 will mark the return of several actors from the now-defunct FoxVerse, including original X-Men stars Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and James Marsden among others.

Meanwhile, Deadpool 3 has already begun production in London and thankfully, it wasn't derailed by the ongoing WGA strike as the film already completed its screenplay long before the strike commenced.

The only downside is Reynolds isn't allowed to improvise his script, something that he's been known for doing. Despite that, I'm pretty sure the film will be a blast, especially given the fact that Marvel Studios retained its R-rating.

Deadpool 3's release date has been moved up from Nov. 8, 2024, to May 3, 2024.
