Namor Confronts Ramonda In New Black Panther 2 Clip

While Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is paying tribute to Chadwick Boseman and his Black Panther role as T’Challa, the movie also features a new ‘villain’ in the story. Tenoch Huerta’s Namor is bound to be the next big bad threatening the peace in Wakanda and a new Black Panther 2 clip shows Namor confronting Angela Bassett’s Ramonda.

Shortly after the world premiere of Black Panther 2, Tenoch Huerta made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live where they talked about the sequel and debut of the actor as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Namor. @XMen97News shared on Twitter the very clip of Namor revealing his identity to Ramonda. You can watch the clip below:

In the clip, Namor arrives on Wakanda (or what the dimmed video can make out), and is enamored by the ‘pristine air’, a place where people ‘don’t have to leave or change.’ Threatened and frightened, perhaps from his sudden appearance on their land, Ramonda and (what looks like to be) Shuri had their spears raised at the enemy, asking who he was, in hopes of finding out his true motive for stepping into their land.

Namor then establishes his stance on whether or not they become ‘friends’ or ‘comrades’: “I have many names. My people call me K’uk’ulkan, but my enemies call me Namor.” Namor is seemingly enticed in taking down Wakanda after taking interest upon T’Challa revealing the truth about Wakanda to the public in the first Black Panther movie.

The MCU fans can’t wait for Huerta’s debut. After all, even the actor hopes that fans will love Namor as much as they had held the hype for Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premieres on November 11.
