Shoto Todoroki: Rising is the title of My Hero Academia Chapter 390, and it picks up where the previous chapter left off, prior to Iida and Shoto's arrival at the epicenter of Dabi's explosion.

Iida's legs had given up, but he was still able to carry Shoto as far as he could.

The cops were taken aback when they realized Iida and Shoto had breached the sound barrier and were traveling at the speed of a jet fighter.

Also, Shoto constantly generates ice to minimize their drag while heating the air in front of them to reduce friction.

Tsukauchi was also reminded of All Might's advice concerning Iida and Shoto, whom he saw as the only hope of avoiding disaster at Gunga.

Iida thanked Shoto and told him how he had finally become the person he desired to be. He also advised Shoto that it was time for him to follow suit.

Shoto recalls the contents of a letter he wrote to his mother some time ago in a flashback. He was doing everything he could to reach out to his classmates, including having daily conversations with them.

Their discussions sometimes led to arguments, but such arguments also helped them comprehend one another's feelings.

There were also moments when his friends got angry and cried, not for themselves but for the sake of others.

Shoto aspires to be like them and do his best, despite the difficulties.

With this, Shoto rushes with all of his might to help his family stop Dabi and, if possible, save him. This astonished Shoto's family, but there was no time to explain what was going on.

As Endeavor holds Dabi, Shoto intervenes and uses the "Great Glacial Aegir" technique, which he utilized in his previous fight with Dabi.

Everyone was still watching from the live stream, and they couldn't help but be concerned about what was happening in front of them.

Some are troubled and scared, but the Masegaki children smile, knowing that Shoto has come to save them.

Shoto then realizes that his entire family is present. If it isn't for them, Shoto's Great Glacial Aegir might not be enough to stop the explosion, as Dabi's flames aren't as hot as they used to be.

Shoto also believes he will never be able to equal Dabi's firepower, which is why he isn't Endeavor's masterpiece.

Toya regains consciousness, yet he still desires for everyone to perish. Naoto notices Dabi freezing from the inside out and wonders what will happen to him next.

Endeavor, who is crawling his way to Dabi, claims that everything will be horrible from now on.

He also apologizes to Toya for not being able to make it to Sekoto Peak.

Dabi continues to say horrible things, but Endeavor is willing to embrace them all.

Furthermore, Endeavor apologizes to every member of his family for what he has done in the past to hurt them.

On the contrary, Himiko Toga worries about Dabi not being able to smile. She recalls Dabi telling her that they both need to smile since that is why they live their lives.

Before the chapter ends, the battlefield changes as Ochako’s fight with Himiko continues!
