Wizards of the Coast have revealed the fifth and final new mechanic for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering set, Ravnica Allegiance, and that mechanic is for the Azorius guild.
The mechanic is called Addendum, and it gives Instant cards an additional or alternative effect if and only if a player cast it during their main phase. Watch the official mechanic spotlight video below:

This is probably my favorite mechanic in Ravnica Allegiance and some cards with Addendum will most likely be used in Standard Control decks.
Earlier this week, the mechanics for the other four guilds featured in the upcoming set, Gruul, Rakdos, Simic, and Orzhov, have already been revealed.

Pre-release events for Ravnica Allegiance will take place on January 19, 2019; the set will officially be released on January 25.
