The next Magic: The Gathering set Ravnica Allegiance will feature the five remaining guilds (Azorius, Simic, Gruul, Rakdos, and Orzhov) and Wizards of the Coast are revealing each of the guild's mechanics this week. We've already seen the mechanics for Rakdos and Orzhov, and today, it's Simic's turn.
The Simic mechanic for Ravnica Allegiance is Adapt, a mechanic that lets you pay an additional cost to add +1 +1 counters on your creatures with Adapt that have no +1 +1 counters on them. Here's the official mechanic spotlight that Wizards of the Coast released today:

I'm not a big fan of the Adapt mechanic but it looks strong in Limited formats.
They also revealed a new Rakdos card today:
It's an Instant that reads "Destroy target artifact, creature or planeswalker."
That's a decent removal card that will surely see play in Standard format.
Pre-release events for Ravnica Allegiance will take place on January 19, 2019; the set will officially be released on January 25.
