Ms. Marvel Episode 1 Ending Explained: It's Cosmic!
Ms. Marvel Episode 1 introduced everyone to the bubbliest and most imaginative kid in the MCU as the newest superhero that will surely make ripples in the waters. It unfolds how Kamala Khan turned into a nobody in school to the hero that she dreams to be, like her idol, Captain Marvel.
Kamala Khan unboxed a package from her grandmother which includes a band carefully wrapped in cloth and even when her mother tried to keep it away from her, Kamala was still drawn to it and took it to put a personal touch to her Captain Marvel costume she’d use at the AvengersCon cosplay contest.
While changing into her costume at the AvengersCon, Kamala Khan, being clumsy, left the photon gloves Bruno made for her but since there’s no time to get it or else she’ll get disqualified, she got on stage and put on the band from her grandmother. Unbeknownst to Kamala, that very moment would change her life forever.

Wearing the band gave her a surge of energy and when facing blinding lights, like the song of The Weeknd in the introductory part of the episode, Kamala’s powers are triggered and she shoots light which leaves everyone at the AvengersCon in awe of what she can do. Unfortunately, she causes trouble.
Kamala accidentally hit Ant-Man’s head, sending it rolling around the venue and causing the wire holding the Mjolnir replica flying through the stage, taking Zoe with it, and thankfully, before she falls, Kamala makes a huge hand from her powers and saves Zoe in time. Only Bruno knows it’s Kamala and as confused as both of them are, they have to go home immediately.
Still, Kamala’s mother busted her for sneaking out and after she leaves the room, Kamala ponders on her new powers and all she can say was, "Cosmic!"
