Moon Knight gets more and more interesting as Easter eggs start to appear throughout the first two runs of the show and in Episode 2, Summon the Suit, a familiar face from the comics, Mr. Knight, the one who wears an all-white dapper suit with a mask and a moon on the forehead. In the series, is he the third persona of Steven Grant and Marc Spector?
Moon Knight Episode 2 Reveals Mr. Knight: Is He a Third Persona?
Those who read the comics would easily recognize Mr. Knight with his exquisite taste in suits and fancy-looking façade who is hyper in all aspects – confidence, intelligence, name it, he is even considered the best persona of Marc Spector. There, he is one of the many personas of Marc, possibly the closest to Moon Knight as a hero.
Mr. Knight is not a fan of being a traditional superhero who is highly skilled when it comes to hand-to-hand combat but what makes him lethal is his intelligence, something like a detective of sorts, much grounded than Marc, working with the police to solve crimes. He’s the cool version of the superhero and definitely a fan-favorite for those reading the comics.
However, in the series, it seems that instead of being a third persona, his character is retconned into being Steven Grant’s superhero alter-ego than being Marc Spector’s. Marc does not even approve of it, calling the suit a psychotic Colonel Sanders, and fans may agree with Marc on this because why subside one of the coolest personas of the titular character, right?

Well, it seems that the direction where the series is pointing to is Steven finally having his very own idea of a superhero and that is Mr. Knight. Still, without the qualities of Mr. Knight from the comics, he’s just one of the many faces Steven or Marc would wear in the show. Whether he would be the best version of the hero remains a question to be answered by the succeeding episodes.
