Since Serizawa’s energy is being stolen at an alarming rate due to Mob’s powers, Reigen decides to proceed alone to stop Mob, despite Serizawa’s protests.

Serizawa believes that Reigen will be in danger considering how Mob’s powers are on a rampage.

Even though he lacks psychic abilities, Reigen proudly displays the results of his secret training on how to stop Mob.

Reigen pushes himself beyond his normal capabilities from one obstacle to the next in order to put an end to Mob's rampage.

On the other hand, ??? tries to open Mob's eyes by claiming that Reigen abused him and his psychic abilities, despite Mob's belief that Reigen did not treat him differently.

Moreover, ??? also told Mob that Reigen was a liar who only knew Mob’s worth because he wanted to use Mob’s powers for his work.

In short, Reigen only gave Mob special treatment because of his powers.

??? also believes that Reigen will abandon them both now that he can see his true form. However, Reigen did the opposite, much to ???’s surprise.

Instead of leaving them alone, Reigen apologizes to Mob for not knowing what he was holding back all this time.

Reigen also did the unthinkable by admitting to Mob that he has never had psychic abilities and that he had only been using him for his work all this time.

Without anything to hide, Reigen revealed his true self to Mob, claiming that he lied a lot, not only to him but also to his customers, because he knows nothing about psychic powers.

Finally, Reigen informs Mob that everyone, including himself, has a negative side, and it is natural to be concerned about it. More importantly, Reigen assures Mob that he is fine as is.

Just like that, Mob and ??? accepted each other, saying that they will return to the way things were and that everything would be fine even if Tsubomi rejected them.

Unlike others, Tsubomi was a kind soul not only to Mob but also to ???. She was the first person to accept both sides of Mob.

However, since Tsubomi lost interest in Mob's psychic abilities, ??? has been left alone within Mob.

Not only did Mob change, but he also left ??? alone by not using his psychic powers like he used to.

As it turns out, it was ???, not Mob, who fell in love with Tsubomi.
